Drew's Bio

In addition to dance accompanying, Drew is a teaching assistant in pursuit of a DMA in Jazz Performance here at UIUC. Prior to coming to Illinois, he was an adjunct instructor of jazz and dance accompanist at Purdue University. Between 2012-2014, Drew worked as an associate instructor while pursuing an MM in Percussion Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Upon graduating from Anderson University with a BA in Music, Drew performed as a drum set player on cruise ships. Currently, Drew performs as a freelance drum set player, percussionist, and bassist throughout the Midwest.
