Nicholas Wagner grew up in Baltimore, MD where he studied and performed dance and theater from the age of four years old. He is a recent graduate of the BFA Dance Program at the University of Illinois. While at the U of I, he received a full-tuition scholarship as well as the Excellence in Performance Award his senior year. During his sophomore year, he was one of four undergraduates chosen for the Mark Morris Dance Group Shadow Program, a program that gives students the opportunity to train and rehearse with members of the prestigious company. He performed in works by Merce Cunningham and Bill T. Jones in addition to working extensively with members of the University of Illinois faculty and alumni. Nicholas currently resides in New York City.
